an activity in which many people are asked a question or a series of questions in order to gather information about what most people do or think about something

Surveys are used to gather or gain knowledge in fields such as social research and demography. Survey research is often used to assess thoughts, opinions and feelings. Surveys can be specific and limited, or they can have more global, widespread goals.

 5. Type of survey 

Surveys can be divided into two broad categories: the questionnaire and the interview. Questionnaires are usually paper-and-pencil instruments that the respondent completes. Interviews are completed by the interviewer based on the respondent says.

6. Doing a survey

The reason I made this survey is to find out how productive someone is during a pandemic. For reference, I want to make a poster about productivity

out of 27 respondents, around 81.5% of people were doing activities at home during the pandemic and 18.5% were not doing activities at home.

of the 28 respondents, as many as 96.4% of people routinely wash their hands after traveling and holding something, and the rest rarely wash their hands.

out of 28 respondents 100% of people always wear masks when traveling outside the home.

out of 28 respondents as many as 85.7% of people always keep their distance when in public places.

out of 28 respondents as many as 75% of people often eat out and 25% sometimes eat out.

The results of the survey I got about activities during the Covid 19 pandemic which were answered by 28 people showed that out of 28 respondents, around 81.5% of people had activities at home during the pandemic and 18.5% did not have activities at home. Of the 28 respondents, 96.4% of the public routinely washed their hands after traveling and handling something, and the rest rarely washed their hands. Of the 28 respondents, 100% of the people always use masks when traveling outside the home. From 28 respondents, 85.7% of the people always keep their distance when in public places. Of the 28 respondents, 75% of the people eat out often and 25% eat out occasionally. Maybe with applications such as gojek, grab, and shoope food some people choose to buy online and eat at home.
